 ★2024年7月31日，東京三得利廳，現場演出。
     自2019年創立以來，「久石讓未來經典交響樂團」系列以重新詮釋經典作品並探索當代音樂的可能性為宗旨，帶領觀眾進入音樂的嶄新領域。本系列的每一場演出，無論是貝多芬、布拉姆斯的交響曲，還是久石讓本人富有哲思的原創作品，皆展現音樂的跨時代魅力與藝術深度。
   第七場音樂會於2024年7月31日在東京三得利廳舉行，無疑是系列中的里程碑之一，曲目是萊許《沙漠音樂》與久石讓《世界的盡頭》兩部極具挑戰性的當代作品。
  《沙漠音樂》是美國極簡主義大師萊許的巔峰之作。作品以詩人威廉‧卡洛斯‧威廉斯的詩為基礎，透過極具張力的節奏與和聲結構，探討核實驗對人類和自然的影響。這一部複雜而且編制龐大的作品首度在日本舞台上完整呈現，舞台上的大型管弦樂團、十名打擊樂手與混聲合唱完美結合，使賴奇的極簡主義音樂在聲音層次上令人屏息。特別是第三樂章的「核問題」隱喻，通過嚴密的音樂結構傳達了深刻的反思。
  《世界的盡頭》則是久石讓對九一一事件後，世界秩序和人類情感的深刻反思。透過四個樂章加一首經典重編曲的結構，展現人類在災難與混亂中的希望與重生。久石讓在這部作品中，展現他對災難、混亂與重生主題的深刻洞察。特別是在第二樂章中，融合爵士樂的元素為作品注入不同的活力。第三樂章由人聲與弦樂的交互鋪陳，情感直擊人心，將作品的哲思推向高峰。
